Nez de Jobourg (Nose of Jobourg)

Selon wiki, le nez de Jobourg est un promontoire rocheux de gneiss icartiens. Il est situé à l'extrémité méridionale du cap de la Hague. Il s'agit de la zone géologique la plus ancienne du Cotentin, datant du Précambrien (deux milliards d'années). According to wiki, the Nose of Jobourg is a rocky promontory of Icartian gneiss. It is located at the southern end of Cap de la Hague. This is the oldest geological area of Cotentin, dating from the Precambrian (two billion years).

La baie du Mont Saint-Michel se traverse à pieds (avec un guide) aussi bien en été qu'en hiver. Il faut marcher environ 7 km pour atteindre les portes du Mont Saint-Michel. Aux grandes marées, le mascaret est un incontrournable. You can cross the bay of Mont Saint-Michel on foot (with a guide) both in summer and in winter. You have to walk about 7 km to reach the gates of Mont Saint-Michel. At high tides, the tidal bore is a must.
