Le Cotentin est une péninsule française correspondant globalement aux limites de l'ancien pays normand. Élément du Massif armoricain, il s'étend entre l’estuaire de la Vire et l’embouchure du Thar au sud de Granville.
The Cotentin is a French peninsula corresponding globally to the limits of the former Norman country. Part of the Armorican Massif, it stretches between the Vire estuary and the mouth of the Thar south of Granville.
