La Ferme des animaux (titre original : Animal Farm. A Fairy Story) est un roman court de George Orwell, publié en 1945. Découpé en dix chapitres, il décrit une ferme dans laquelle les animaux se révoltent, prennent le pouvoir et chassent les hommes.

Il s'agit d'un apologue écrit sous la forme d'une fable animalière, mais également d'une dystopie. Dans ce roman, Orwell propose une satire de la Révolution russe et une critique du régime soviétique, en particulier du stalinisme, et au-delà, des régimes autoritaires et du totalitarisme.
